Congratulations to 1st dan Lauren Bradshaw who recently won the award for ‘Best Overall Junior Competitor’ at the recent ITF Ireland Cup held in Waterford.
Lauren won through a large section of 1st and 2nd dans in tul to take the gold beating Laura Toibin from Carrick on Suir in the final. Lauren had three fights taking her through to the final of the sparring division where she again met Laura Toibin and took the decision with ease. Lauren at 15 years old is a very experienced competitor having won the European Colour belt championships in Croatia at 11 years old in 2009. She then went on to win Gold at the World Taekwon-Do festival in Korea in 2010, this was followed by winning the best over all junior black belt at the IUTF European championships in 2011 and in 2012 she won the ITF European championships in Bulgaria.
