Getting started at Red Star couldn’t be easier. Your first introductory class is free with no obligations.
Please arrive 15 minutes before class. Our membership officer will talk you through the different options available for membership. Before training commences you must fill out a health screening form. Parents and/or Guardians must fill this form out and sign it for juniors. No person can step onto the mats to train until this screening form is complete and signed. No child can train until consent from a parent or guardian is obtained via the screening form. You will be given a copy of our Terms and Conditions. You are welcome to bring this home with you, study it and if you are satisfied return to the membership officer on return to training.
All adults are advised to consult with their doctor for a medical check up before commencing physical training.
Cost:
Membership Structure At Red Star we have three membership options. Each option allows you to pick what training schedule best suits your available time. Membership is purchased on a monthly rolling basis. The monthly fee that you pay is used to guarantee you or your child’s membership slot at Red Star.
You are required to pay the agreed monthly fee regardless of whether you have trained once or no times during that month. Failure to pay the monthly fee will result in your membership slot being freed up and allocated to the next person on our membership waiting list.
Membership can only be held once the monthly membership fee is paid.
This includes holidays. You will be notified via text message if your slot is being offered to another potential member. All members are required to be insured via our insurance policy which has an annual charge of €35.

FOUR STAR membership: **** €35 per month Train once a week in a designated class. Family discount available for no less than three members of the same family

Family Discounts
If you are availing of our FIVE STAR membership, family discounts are available when two or more members of the same family are training. One family member €60 per month if paying by standing order. €65 if paying cash. Two family members €110 per month (€120 if paying cash) Third family member goes FREE If you are availing of our FOUR STAR membership, family discounts are only available once a third family member joins. One family member €35 per month Two family members €70 per month Three family members €100 per month – All membership fees must be paid at the beginning of each month – For a full time matted training gym, we offer the best prices around.
INSURANCE
All members are required to pay €35 annual insurance cover. Our insurance policy is obtained via O’Driscoll/O’Neill and Kickboxing Ireland. No member can train without this insurance cover. No member can train under any other insurance policy, private or otherwise. Insurance must be paid at the beginning of the training year.
CLOTHING
By the end of the first month training, a new member must purchase a training uniform. Only Red Star Martial Arts approved clothing may be worn. No football/GAA jerseys/shorts or other may be worn. You wouldn’t wear your Kickboxing fight suit while training with a football team!
