Red Star Sport Taekwon-Do & Kickboxing are relocating.
All classes from the the 16th March 2015 will take place at the new Vitality Hub located on Nore Road, Glasnevin. The Vitality Hub is approx 1 minute and 30 seconds drive from our old location.
Our new location is a very professional, modern and warm training centre. The Vitality Hub will also be holding classes such as Insanity Training, Kettlebell training, Boxercise, Yoga and Pilates to name but a few. Red Star will be bringing martial arts to the new Hub. Our training times and classes will remain the same throughout. We are very excited about this new move and we hope you are too!
Here is a a complete list of everything you need to know, including a few ground rules that we all should understand and abide by.
- You can access the Vitality Hub from either Broombridge or from Glasnevin. Coming in from Glasnevin, you pass Woodies on your left, Lidl on your right. Keep straight, pass Bargaintown on your left. Come to the end of the road, take a left then take a right – The Vitality Hub is the first building on your right.
- Coming from Broombridge, coming onto Lagan Road, take the first turn right then the first turn left. The Vitality Hub is the last building on the left hand side, this is Nore Road.
- The building has its own car park. Parking is available in all of the marked spaces however, parking in front of other businesses should be avoided. There are plenty of spaces around the building. Parking is also available outside on the road way and across the road.
- There is a coffee shop on the premises. Parents and visitors are welcome to use this while they are waiting. This coffee shop currently closes at 6pm/6.30pm.
- Parents are asked not to smoke outside of the building. This is a sports and fitness centre. It caters for the children as well as those trying to stay off the cigarettes and stay healthy, please set a good example. If you need to smoke to do outside of the building perimeter fence or in your car.
- Signs for Red Star Taekwon-Do and Kickboxing will be erected soon.
- Our new mats will arrive into Ireland in a couple of weeks. Until then we will be training on carpeted floor.
- There are two large waiting areas for parents. However if parents wish to sit inside the Dojang and watch they may do so as long as they are not in the way of the class. Outdoor shoes are NOT allowed in the Dojang. Our mats in the old premises were utterly destroyed by people walking on them with their shoes, bringing glass, dog dirt and other unmentionables on to a surface where people train in their bare feet. Shoes in the Dojang will not be tolerated.
- Parents are asked not to interfere in the running of the class. Our instructors are capable and experienced. They don’t need any assistance from the back of the Dojang.
- All students are asked to leave their gear bags and shoes in the changing rooms provided. No gear bags are allowed in the Dojang or in the waiting areas.
- All visitors to Red Star are asked to sign in at reception. This is a health and safety procedure and will be strictly monitored. Parents, aunts, uncles, grannies and grandads are all asked to sign in and out once they are leaving the building.
